Vermilion Wins £20,000 October Book 1 Bonus and Earns £28,100

VERMILION collected the 307th £20,000 Tattersalls October Book 1 Bonus with a battling win at Newmarket in the Blandford Bloodstock Maiden Fillies’ Stakes for Andrew Balding and owners Highclere – Sir Alexander Fleming. The daughter of KODIAC is a half-sister to dual Gr.3 winner and Gr.1 runner up DJUMAMA, herself a Group/Listed producer. She was bought for 120,000 guineas by Highclere Agency from the draft of Byerley Stud, and her TEN SOVEREIGNS half-brother will be offered as lot 295 by Mountain View Stud at Book 1 of this year’s October Yearling Sale.
