Zagitova Wins £25,000 Book 1 Bonus and Earns 46,484 Euros

The Aidan O’Brien-trained ZAGITOVA made light work of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden at Cork yesterday, winning a Tattersalls October £25,000 Book 1 Bonus in the process. The beautifully-bred daughter of GALILEO is a half-sister to Group 1 Prix Maurice de Gheest winner GARSWOOD and earned a total of 46,484 Euros (based on today’s exchange rate) for her owners Michael Tabor, Derrick Smith and Mrs John Magnier. Glenvale Stud consigned ZAGITOVA at Book 1 of the October Yearling Sale where she was purchased for 1.6 million guineas. The Tattersalls October £25,000 Book 1 Bonus is only for graduates of Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale. This year’s sale takes place from October 9 – 11.
