Europe’s Leading Breeze Up Sale
for Group 1 Winners
The 2025 edition of the Tattersalls Craven Breeze Up Sale eclipsed its previous records for highest price, average and turnover, headed by the 1,750,000 guineas sale of a colt by HAVANA GREY to Amo Racing. The sale’s turnover of 18,804,000 guineas was an increase of 29% on last year’s sale, with the average and median up 25% and 15% respectively and 27 lots selling for 200,000 guineas or above.
UAE 2000 Guineas winner Six Speed is currently flying the Craven flag in Dubai, bought for 220,000 guineas by Bhupat Seemar at last year’s sale. 2025 Al Quoz Sprint winner Believing became the fifth individual Group 1 winner for the Craven Breeze Up Sale since 2022. Her victory on Dubai World Cup night followed on from the Tattersalls Irish 2000 Guineas winner Native Trail, 1000 Guineas winner Cachet, last season’s Futurity Trophy winner Hotazhell and dual Group 1 winning two-year-old Vandeek.
